Located in the beautiful outdoors just a couple miles outside of Leadville, Colorado, Sugarloafin' Campground is a full service RV park and campground. Our park is the perfect outdoor escape for those looking to come enjoy some beautiful scenery and great outdoor activities. So whether you are looking for some great hiking and sight seeing, or just wanting to relax with the family by the campfire, our park is the perfect getaway.

Our great amenities and facilities make our park the perfect place to unwind and relax. Our full hookup drive-thru sites have a spectacular view of Colorado's highest mountain peaks which surrounding our valley. The drive-thru sites are over 100 feet in length. Many back-in spaces are large with grass, and have trees or an open meadow to the rear. Most sites accommodate triple slide outs. Back in sites are a minimum of 30 x 50 feet in size. 30 amp electric receptacle boxes are provided at all sites and nine sites have 50 amp.service.

Sugar Loafin' is surrounded by Rainbow trout fishing, rock hounding, pine scented forests, jeep trails, clean air, hiking, boating, mountain climbing, blue skies, cool breezes blowing off snowcapped mountain peaks, and the nation's highest golf course, which, by the way, is our neighbor. We are one mile from Turquoise Lake. Enjoy the scenic drive around the Lake, or the hiking trail that circles the east and north shores. Take a relaxing ride on the highest railroad line in the west. The train leaves the former U.P. station twice each day during the summer to view the high mountain scenery near Fremont Pass. Horseback rides are close by and offer one hour to overnight trips.
