The recent PBS documentary "The National Parks - America's Best Idea" by Ken Burns has sparked a lot of renewed interest in our National Parks. Our staff here was also struck by the history and evolution of our park system and how lucky we are that some very dedicated individuals made the creation of our National Parks their lifework.
