Craig KOA
The Yampa River flows a short distance from your campsite here, in a mountain valley 40 miles west of Steamboat Springs and 90 miles east of Dinosaur National Monument. Big herds of elk often can be seen roaming the pine forests and high meadows near Craig. Youll find plenty of hiking and biking trails to explore, as well as outfitted horseback rides and whitewater rafting trips.
At the campground, swim in the heated pool, relax in the adults-only hot tub and play horseshoes and tetherball. Kids keep busy with a big playground and a game room. And your dog will appreciate the expansive pet walk! Buy handmade Native American handicrafts in the gift shop. In Craig, make sure to browse the Cowboy and Gunfighter Museum housed within the Museum of Northwest Colorado. Contact information for Craig KOA
