Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Beaumont Hotel was built in 1886 and opened in 1887 at the height of the gold boom. It soon became known as the Flagship of the San Juans. In 1998 after being boarded up and closed for more than 35 years the hotel was lovingly restored to its original grandeur and once again opened its doors to guests and to the community as the social hub. The hotel features the Tundra Restaurant recognized with AAAs Four Diamond Award and by Wine Spectator for its award winning wine list. Located on the first floor of the Beaumont is Bulows Bistro offering casual dining. This cozy bistro is tucked away in a secluded and relaxing European setting offering both indoor and outdoor dining. The Beaumont also features Spa Vivante providing spa services including massage, river stone therapies, and body treatments.
